Let Me Post a Question to You...

I'm debating on what project I want to pick up next. There are several Naruto one-shots I need to start/finish. There is a long Ouran piece I put on hold so I could finish UE. I believe I also have a long Naruto piece, if I think about it, not sure if I want to do anything with that though.

On top of those existing stories, I also have an idea for a *brief* sequel to UE.

The options are kind of endless based off of what I was doing before life got a little complicated. So, I put up a poll on the right column. You may vote on as many as you'd like, but I'll only work on one project at a time (too troublesome otherwise and less likely to get finished).

The Options Are*:

1. Naruto/Shikamaru One-Shot Series -- This will pick up on an existing series based off of this pairing. I already have one somewhat written and have a couple more planned out.

2. Sakura/Shino One-Shot Series -- This will pick up as a sequel to For the Love of Bugs. There is possibility for another story or two after that as well.

3. Naruto/Gaara Chapter Series -- This would be picking and probably reworking the story UnderCovers. I am more cautious in doing this but have no problem rehashing the original idea out if people want.

4. Ouran Chapter Series -- This would be starting back on the story Almost Home, Country Roads.

5. Alphabet One-Shot Challenge -- This is a multiple fandom challenge. It's fairly simple, each story must be based off a one-word theme sequential to the alphabet. There will, obviously, be a total of 26 one-shot stories, beginning with a theme based off the letter A and going through to one based off the letter Z. If this is chosen, either now or the near future, I may take requests for certain letters; fandoms would be up to me, however.

6. Unexpected Endeavors Sequel -- I mean it, this would be a BRIEF sequel. I'm thinking probably less than 10 chapters and definitely not more. I'm including the one-shot story after UE in the ebook download, so this story would take place after that. I would like it to focus on more courtly troubles--hanyous and humans in youkai courts, as it were--but the plot would need to be further developed. Not to mention I don't want to discuss too much in fear of giving away bits of UE to come.

7. Requests -- If you have something you'd like to see me work on or what not, feel free to recommend it to me. I may not be able to do it, but I'm always glad to give it a shot.

8. Inuyasha Chapter Series -- I almost forgot about this story! It originally was a round robin fic through a community called RHC, but I came up with the plot, outline, and was the only one to contribute a chapter. So, I claim it for myself! It's a Kagome/Inuyasha story called Fighting Fate, you can find it on FFN: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/5385497/1/Fighting-Fate.

*Yes, yes--I know everyone wants me to continue Coming Attractions. I do too; there are still far from a few Killua-Gon stories out there for my liking (without sounding creepy there; sorry). The problem is, I need to rewatch the series for me to continue this story. Which I plan on doing, but it'll take a bit to catch up and I'd like to work on new things while I'm doing that.

So check out the poll in the right column and help me out. Otherwise, who knows what I'll work on next and that is always interesting. The poll closes on Dec 14, which gives me a very tentative deadline to have all of UE done and posted. Hopefully I can have a new story going (or continuing) by the beginning of the year.

Bye guys--mucho love! You'll be seeing me later tonight for another couple of chapter posts. And be prepared, I have approx. 10,000 words coming your way via Chapter 29. Mwuahahahaha.

  1. I'm glad that you'll continue to write, and as invested as I am in UE (I've been reading since early 2007), I'm kind of afraid to ask you to write anything else for it. I'd much rather go along with your previous profile update about moving away from Inuyasha fandom and see you finish your other story that I love - 'Almost Home, Country Roads'.

  2. I realized last night I don't have the original outlines for some of the stories listed. Now I'm scrambling to either find traces of them from old computers (and once I get my temporary back up unit back online, I'll check that) or on my Google Drive.

If I can't find them, I'll just try to see if I can retrace my steps and come up with a "new" outline based off what I could see I was doing in the story itself.

Oh this is going to be fun :D
