PERSONAL
Hi! My name is ella! Though many know me from my fandom name, scottishfae. My birthday is March 29 and I will be 29 this year! Good times!

I'm currently single and living with my three cats (Sif, Loki, and Thor) and dog (Hachi). I think Hachi saves me from being a "crazy cat lady," but just barely.

EDUCATION
I received my B.A. in English from Auburn University in 2006. It only took me five years! I'm still known in my department as "the girl who wouldn't stop taking classes."

Since English isn't the most promising of degrees in the job market today, I have debated about going back to school for a Masters in Technical Writing (which includes a lot more than actual technical writing), but those are ideas for the future.

ORIGINAL WRITING
At any given time, I'm bound to have 3-4 novels circulating in my head and sometimes on paper. I am currently world-building for a novel I'm extremely excited about. I will begin work on that this November.

For those of you don't know what NaNoWriMo is, you should go learn about it now!!! In short, it's a challenge every November to write 50,000 words in 30 days. Or, if you really awesome, 100,000. I'm not really awesome. This year I'm going to be doing Camp NaNo as well--though at a smaller scale.

FANFICTION
I have posted stories in four different fandoms (Naruto, Inuyasha, Hunter x Hunter, and Ouran High School Host Club), though I have several in-the-works and not posted in One Piece and Fullmetal Alchemist.

Most people will know me from my Inuyasha series, Unexpected Endeavors. The beast that took me seven years to completed (with several rewrites and throw outs involved). Its been nominated a dozen or so times in different fields and won three times from Feudal Association and four from Inuyasha Fan Guild. I am currently working on its sequel (it will only be posted here and on Dokuga).

Four of my Ouran stories have also won at Ouran Contest (On The Brink of a New Year, Of Fathers and Daughters, Moments, and Not an Answer).

For Naruto, most of my stories are now focused on Naruto x Shikamaru. I don't know why I love this pairing so much, but I do. Which leads me to a quick soap box moment:

If you have problems with it, don't read it. Don't send me hate mail telling me I'm morally corrupt because I think gay sex is hot and gay couples just as beautiful as heterosexual ones. I do not care for your bigotry and I won't deal with. I have officially left FFN for fandoms' close-minded trolls.

Not that that is over, my Hunter x Hunter story, Coming Attractions, is on hiatus until I can rewatch the series. It's been too long and I'm not sure I can write the characters anymore. I will pick it up since the pairing isn't found a lot.

FANDOM
For those of you who aren't close to me, you won't know that I live and breathe One Piece. After college, I got out of watching anime as much (though I am currently getting back into it), but not One Piece. It is my second true love (Genghis Khan being my one true love).

Like many of my generation, I was introduced to anime via Toonami. So, while I don't write in it, I'm very active in the Gundam Wing fandom.

I am not involved in these fandoms, but I am a major Doctor Who and Sherlock fan. I have given in and finally given Avatar another chance. Much better this time, and I look forward to watching Korra.

In the near future, I'll add in a sub-section here of all my favorite anime and manga. Needless to say, most of my favorite manga are shoujo. I do love me some cheesy romances.
