Unfortunately, I've had to give up on NaNo this year. It was a tough decision, but continued health issues, plus my needing to work on things that I actually get paid for, have made it near impossible for me. I'm just over 16k right now and it just isn't feasible for me to do the 24/7 writing binges this year. I will continue to work on this project, just not on this intensity level.
In other news, Happy Thanksgiving! It's a mere two days away and I have already been called in as cooking support. We've added three people to our family Thanksgiving this year, which should prove to be very interesting. In the very least, there will be a lot of desserts (shark cookies, two forms of pie, brownies, and sugar free pudding). We are going to be a very hyper family--except my da, who can only have the sugar free variety.
Because I will be cooking, I won't be able to get as much writing done as I want. However, once I get everything I need done, I'll turn to working on UE some more. I have chapter 26 complete, and chapter 27 is well on its way. I just need to finish 25/a so I can publish the other two. It will have a limited release on FFN; sorry--they're rather stringent on their content rules and with the asshats out reporting people who they don't like, I'm not chancing it.
So, in summary, no more NaNo for me this year. Cooking a lot come Thursday. And I will hopefully have some UE posts by the end of the week. I'll try to turn my free time focus to UE more; I'm sorry for my neglect.
Oh--did I mention I was able to grab a Wii U? There goes my free time. :D
