On The Verge!

NaNo is so close! I cannot tell you how excited I am to begin "writing dangerously" again. I actually scrapped my plan from last post when I came across a story I began in 2010 (while cleaning out my google drive--amazing things can be found there!). It was good--better than good, even--and I decided I wanted to continue it.

Title: Icers (probably not, but that's the only thing I can think of right now)

Genre: Steampunk 

Word Goal: 51,502 --this is to accommodate the bits I've already written.

I'm still working on the plot, though I've added and fleshed out lots of characters thus far. I suppose I need to finish off the plot bit by tonight, seems to be slightly important. :)

I will keep my daily count listed up here. I still have a lot of stuff do to for work, and I want to continue working on my Japanese lessons, so I will probably keep to a 2,000 word maximum for all weekdays. Weekends I will throw dust to the wind and write like a madwoman in order to reach my goal. I've never won NaNoWriMo and, by the gods, this will be my year!

I have a midnight write-in tonight, but it will be on campus so I will be sans-internet (I have long graduated and no longer have a login for the university). I will try to keep everything posted here as well as on my NaNo page (scottishfae if you want to friend me). Good luck to everyone else participating. I'll be cheering for y'all too. <3
